Feng Chia University’s First Freshman Project Competition Debuts: Department of Electronic Engineering Wins Gold, Department of Marketing Receives Social Popularity Award

Feng Chia University held its first-ever “University-wide Freshman Project Competition” in 2025, guiding new students to immerse themselves in a CDIO learning environment centered on “learning by doing, doing by learning” from their very first day on campus. The project courses, held from September 2 to 3, featured outstanding teams from each department, who continued to refine their projects in their spare time. The final results exhibition was held at Virtuosi Hall from September 23 to 26, attracting over a thousand faculty and students for observation and exchange.

Innovative Engineering Education! Feng Chia University Receives High Praise from the Ministry of Education for Cultivating Interdisciplinary Engineering Talent

The College of Construction and Development at Feng Chia University has once again received high praise from the Ministry of Education for its efforts in cultivating interdisciplinary engineering talent. Since 2022, the College has been awarded funding under the Ministry of Education's "Experimental and Constructive Project for New Engineering Education Methods" Category C for three consecutive years, successfully securing over ten million NTD in funding, making it one of the few universities in Taiwan to receive this honor.

22 Faculty Members from Feng Chia University Ranked Among the World’s Top 2% Scientists

The World’s Top 2% Scientists list for 2023, compiled by Stanford University using Scopus citation data, was released in September 2024. Feng Chia University achieved an impressive milestone with 28 entries, including 18 faculty members named in the Career-Long Impact List (1960–2023) and 10 faculty members named in the 2023 Annual Impact List. Notably, six professors were listed in both categories, demonstrating the university’s strong global research influence.

All 7 departments of Feng Chia University passed the 2024 IEET International Engineering Education Certification.

"Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan" IEET announced that the school's Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering and Systems Management, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Department of Transportation and Logistics, Department of Mechanical and computer-Aided Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering and Science, and the Department of Fiber and Composite Materials, have all passed the 2024 International Engineering Education Certification, reaffirming the university's teaching quality in the field of engineering and cultivating industries.
